Hannah is Cooking!

Welcome to my blog! Here I have posted recipes for mostly Indian dishes that I prepare regularly for Jord and me. The dishes are simple and easy to make. I do not like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen and so most of my curries don’t take more than 20 minutes to prepare. Click on the "Tips" tab below for important tips!

Hannah
Hi everyone! My name is Hannah. I grew up in Southern India and moved to the United States about 6 years ago. After I moved to the U.S., I really started getting into cooking. I started off my cooking "career" with some of my mom's recipes and then started making up my own versions of popular curries. I now love to cook all kinds of food. My favorite cuisine is Indian, of course. My friends and husband have loved most everything I've prepared thus far, and their encouragement moves me forward to try new, innovative recipes. I am also trying to make my recipes as healthy as possible by cutting down on fats and unnecessary calories--Indian food can hide a lot of calories. There are times that I do splurge on ingredients, because I think that, once in a while, it's good to eat some sublime, scrumptious foods! The moral of my story is that, YOU CAN COOK INDIAN TOO! This is what I tell people: if Hannah can cook, you can cook too! Please do try out my recipes, or make up your own recipes and give me your input. Join this blog and tell your friends about it too! Thanks for your interest! Hannah
